I still run torque strap...dont see any problem with it and only can help when you dont want to run vibration city mounts on a street car
 
There doesn't seem to be a happy compromise here...........seems the HR's create too much vibration and the the stockers aren't strong enough. Too bad there isn't a good strong quality made stock style MM made in the US/Canada that doesn't cost a lot. I replaced mine about 2 yrs ago with a stock one, but the thing was made in Pakistan I think.
 
I never noticed excessive vibration with the HR mounts!?
They are perfect replacements.

I recommend getting motor mounts rather than those old school methods.

They are notorious for breaking alternator and accessory mounting brackets

Some of the earlier motor mounts were very hard poly and some did complain of vibration although it never seemed to bother me.

My last set was of the newer slightly updated poly and I have felt no vibration.
 
Unless you make over 500rwhp, you only need the hr driver side mount and a good stock pass side mount to keep things under control and still be comfortable.
