Does anyone sell the plastic shield thingy that goes on the end of the TPS plug harness?

I plugged it back in,and the locking tab broke off and flew across the garage. The plug is wire-tied on the TPS now. But that's not a long term fix.

That's what I get for screwing with GM's tortilla chip plastic in 25' temps.

I did the same thing and bought the TPS pig tail from Caspers,I also bought the tool to remove the weather proof pins so I didn't have to cut and splice the connector.Just simply disassemble both the new and the old connector and assemble the new connector onto the factory wire harness, very simple to do.The tool looks like a small hollow screw driver, just remove the locking clip, slip the tool over the pin, push the tool all the way into the connector and pull the pin out of the connector.Just remember which wire goes in each terminal. Actually a cable tie is a long term fix. ;)

Or get the Caspers repair end.

I think almost every locking tab on my car is broke, many years and counting with no problems.

X2...did the same thing.

junkyards are full of cheap or free donors for things like this if you have the tool to take apart the weatherepak connectors.

NAPA has them

Get the small yellow screwdriver pin tool.. and the "generic" 3 pin weatherpack is keyed like the TPS. Worse case you'll need to cutout the keyway using an exacto knife.

Or get the Caspers.
