Any magic involved with changing the TPS? Or do you just unplug the old one, remove it, slap the new one on, and plug it in.

And then set it.

You'll need a volt meter minimum, but a scan tool makes the job easy. Set the idle TPS voltage within spec, then pull the TPS forward or back to get the WOT in spec.

Make sure you get enough volts at WOT. I just adjusted my TPS this weekend. It fixed my tip in hestation and increased my WOT voltage. I don't think I was getting enough WOT voltage, because the car feels much faster with the new settings. Make sure you floor mat isn't blocking your pedal travel.
You might want to adjust your T.V. cable also while you do the TPS.

FYI...Casper electronics has all the connector plugs if you break any of the connector clips...old plastic is brittle. I just had to order another TPS splice connector. Casper is a great place to purchase anything that deals with electronics or wires.
