TR6 cam sensor test

Car starts and runs fine.....just annoying code that prevents Tach from being usable.

I am not the One working on car, but happened to me before as well.

I tried to set the CAM sensor by using the TR6.

Dunno if my guy is using this, or what method to set the CAM sensor?

Cam sensor was set this time using Caspers tool.

Still Error with Cam Sync....

I have the same issue but only if I get on it hard and close the throttle really quickly at the end of whatever I'm doing. Code 37 right? Bob said the early tr6s had sensitive diag software. I was going to retard the cap a bit and see if that did anything before sending it in for an update. How long have you had your tr6?

And like Mike said, don't be so concerned with what is right but rather what the car wants. Retard the cap a hair, a thin one, clockwise. If that doesn't work, try the other way.

Mine is always a code 37.
