tractor fluid in transfer case

The transfer case in my Z71 silverado has been leaking since after I had it out and cleaned it up when I rebuilt the trans.I'm aware of the oil pump clip eating the case up on these but it don't look like it's coming from there
The blue autotrac fluid is 10 bucks a qt it's thicker than ATF anybody ever put ATF or tractor fluid in their GM autotrac transfer case?

If you use ATF you will need to add limited slip additive otherwise there are binding issues.

I would think 2wd or 4wd would both be fine, just not auto awd. But, I'm not sure.
