Tranny mods for non lock converter

If it turns out I have a non lock converter in my car, I will have to do some mods to the tranny....not just swap converters. I found these instructions for switching to a non lock on gnttype, but i dont know what these parts are, where they go, what they do or what they look like.

1. Remove checkball and casing from input shaft. (works with lockup to, makes the lockup feel like another gear shift).
2. Remove lockup valve assembly from pump.
3. Replace with Art Carr's non-lockup valve.
4. Remove a cup plug from pump.
5. Tap cup plug oriface and insert hex screw, locking non-lockup valve in place.

So whats the lockup valve assembly? How does it install and where?
Whats the cup plug?
Anyone have pics or know where to find pics on the net?

Anyone? I found I have a nonlock converter in there, so Im going to need to know what to do soon.

like i asked the same ? also , it all depends if the person who installed it put in the non luck pump, you will have to look inside

Thing is, if I were to open it up, I wouldnt know what kind of pump it is. I dont know much of anything about trannies.
