Friends 442 with 200r4 chirps the tires at very light throttle between 1-2nd any way for him to fix this without tearing into tranny?

Because he has back problems and the town he lives in the police are very strict on enforcement. Even as normal throttle it chirps the tires!

Adjust the tranny cable a notch or 2 longer or he could just get bigger tires..lol

Dont Back The Tv Cable Off Until Shifts Get Soft, that is a good way to send the trans to a early grave.

Adjusted 2 turns and still way to firm of shifts. Guess he will have to take to tranny shop?

I would order a CK valve body kit and install it.

You could also go to GM, buy a new X plate (8657309) and install it totally stock, and check the 1-2 accumulator while there.

Put it all stock.

I'm wondering if it might have a stuck TV Boost valve or TV valve?

Might try letting it get warm, yank the TV cable in and out several times.
