Ok I need a cooler on my GN. How many GVW should I use? Single pass or fin and plate style. Thanks!

Plate, probably a 28,000gvw. I'm going with a hayden model, i think that the plate design disapates alot more heat than having a tube and fin design

I was told that as big as I could go wouldn't hurt at all.

Imo

If you are like most of us and drive mostly during warmer weather--yes get the bigger one. I prefer the plate design--I believe Summit has a 11X11X1.5 thick with 1/2 in. NPT female threads. May have to go online to find it. BMM-70274--29,200GVW. You will like this one.I have one and with the convertor locked @ summer cruise oil runs @ 120 degrees. Best of luck. I do have SOME experience with different types and designs of oil and trans coolers. BTW, this can be used for either.
