Ok guys need some ideas where to check next I have a transmission fluid leak and I can't find it I though maybe the pan seal so I replaced that I can take the car out and drive it no leaks park it when we are out no leak park it in my garage for two days and there is half a quart on ground and my cross over pipe is wet but when I look I do see anything leaking please if u have any ideas shoot them out I'm going nuts ...

My buddy's TTA developed a leak at the gear selector.

Clean it all down with brake cleaner, wipe it dry and watch.

Pump seal , pump o ring, selector shaft seal, TV cable boot, Dipstick cable boot and servo cover, check em all. Sometimes after the car sits they leak because the convertor drains down and the fluid level goes above the pan rail and find away out-ask me how I know.

I would look at the dip stick tube and tv cable as those are a little higher up. When you park it and the converter drains back into the pan of course the fluid rises. Could also be the selector place but I would do as above and clean it up real good and dust the area on the trans down with baby powder so you cam hopefully see where ot is leaking from.

And take of the inspection cover if you are still running it. You can see the pump area pretty good.

Thanks guys I'm going to take it put it on a lift and clean the hell out of it tomm this game of hide and seek is getting old

Fought to find the source of my transmission leak too. Finally found it using UV dye in the transmission fluid. A black light in a dimly lit room is guaranteed to find the source of your leak.
Ended up being the electrical solenoid pass thru connector. Ordered a new one from Kirbans (could have just changed the "O" ring though), and it solved my leak problems!
