TRANS WONT SHIFT

Hi guy

i have a problem my car wont shift from 1st to 2nd on its till i let off the gas and press down again n then itll be ok but will do it again once i stop n go again what could this be??....also it will jerk violently sometimes when i go from reverse to drive or park to drive....thanks in advance for any info you guys can give me

have you checked the fluid? TV cable?

I haven't since it started doing it late at night n I wasn't able to see very clearly I will check the fluids today n hopefully get the tv cable checked out
