hello peoples: I'm talking trans. tune up here. Besides changing the fluid and filter is there anything else you can do to maintain and or slightly upgrade a TB trans.without dropping it. I have a cooler in the rad. and an external. In my case I have a street car and over 100 thou on the trans.

Alock up solenoid during the tune up is a good idea.You can install a shft kit and servo w/out removing the trans as well.

hello: Chris718 I went to your site and did not see a lock up solenoid. What would those upgrade you mention do for an older(miles) trans?
Also I saw your deep trans pan and what screen is that in it?

2004R.Purchased a very clean 87 from a board member and that too will be getting 502 and 2004r.Should be in the next week or so.The Lmited just got sold.

Thanks Chris, maybe add a little detail to those signatures regarding the transmissions as many of us running large V8's with 200-4R's would be interested.
