I have the Translator Plus and need to have it set to 3.5 RICH in order for the BLM's to be near 128,Seeing as I dont use the Extender chip is this WOT fuel adjustment knob useless to me ,,Should I just keep lowering the fuel psi to lower my WOT o2's.Using Delphi 50lbs if that helps any..

Thanks :D :D

WOT fuel knob will not work for you. Who's chip are you using. You should highly consider an Extender chip. They are well worth the money. Either way, I would be more worried about how the car responds @ WOT than the blm's at idle. What are your blm's @ idle with the T+ set to base 0? What is your fuel pressure set at? Need more info to help you more.

DONT mess with the translator without the Extender. Your car will suck. Dont ask me how I know:D

Idle BLM with the T+ set @ BASE is 150 with FP high or low seemed that it didnt matter ,I was told to set the T+ to 3.5 Rich and that brought the BLM down I think I am at 42 psi line off,my WOT o2 are high ,if I lower the Fp will the idle BLM go up again??

what boost?
what octane?
what chip?
How high are the WOT O2's? When? (top of first gear/second/third?)
What are you reading your O2's with?

Yes, if you turn the FP down the blm's will go up.

What version of the T+?

BLM's that are not near 128 are ONLY a problem if driveability is suffering.....
If it drives well, then you are fine.

Bob

As Bob eluded to I still don't think there is enough info.

I would go with Base fuel @ No change and increase your FP to 45 or 46 psi line off and then pull it down from there if your WOT O2's are not in range.

Answer Bob's first 5 questions and he may be able to give you some more advise. Without more specifics we are all just pissing in the wind.

Boost is 22-24 psi With Alki
Octane 93
Testa Chip 21° I think??
830 o2's in 3rd
Scanmaster

My Tranlator + is NOT the updated version

If driveability is fine (Jims chips are pretty good) then there is no need to
worry about BLMs

Your fueling is probably about right without the Alky, you can do a couple things.

You can run an alky/water mix to lean it out, reportedly works pretty well.

You can drop your fuel pressure as long as driveability does not suffer

You can have Jim pull some fuel out for you and richen the BLMs as well.

Updating the TransPlus software will fix the BLM stuff, but you will still need to
do something about the WOT fuel.
