Transmission trouble??

Out driving the Grand National today; almost home and decided to lay into it from a stop. Loud pop under car during 1 to 2 shift then afterwards lazy 1 to 2 shift. All other gears shift normal. What do you guys think? I guess I already know. Thanks guys.

Was it a backfire? Could have killed or damaged your MAF.
