Considering ordering an extreme automatics transmission with their BRC valve body, anybody running the stage 1, and what's your feedback on this transmission. TIA.

I ran their Stage 1 but as I built my engine I wiped it out. Even so Lonnie stood behind the warranty and gave me full value for the Stage 1 on buying a Stage 3.
Great service and a great vendor to do business with. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks, did you run the extreme automatics BRC VB or the stock BRF?

4l80e. And never look back

Thanks, looking to maintain the 200 4r, and I'm really interested on getting feedback on the BRC valve body.

The BRC valve body is a modified valve body and governor combo to mimic the behavior of the BR-F valve body. Most builders , including myself have our own version of a modified valvebody and governor. The feedback for modified valve bodies are they work and in many cases, work better than the performance valve bodies we are used too.

Thanks, Dave. The reason I ask is I want to keep my stocker, and if a better performing valve body can be had without incurring the core charge for the stocker I would do that. If the modified valve body does not work better than the stocker, I would pony up for a BRF.

It depends on your application of use which valve body will work best.

My long term goals are high to mid 11s 115 or so trap speed at this point for a transmission. I am looking for a transmission that drives like a stocker, but can handle the said goals and last for a while doing it. In the short term, I don't think I will be out of the twelves for a bit.
