anyone ever bought a treadmill? looking a t proform right now prices aren't bad wanted to get some opinions.

Craigslist. They're purchased and never used.

I prefer an eliptic.

They always end up being a nice place to hang clothing.

Gyms are reasonable and have allot to offer. $10 to $20 per month.

D

Go outside and run for free :D
In all seriousness, I don't know anyone that owns a treadmill and uses it.

I know allot of people that have bought them as well and didn't use them...usually it's because they bought the wrong kind and they didn't feel comfortable using it, there is definitely a big difference between the ones that the gyms get and the ones that you find in most retail stores. We tracked down a supplier for a gym and bought a gym quality elliptical, I use it an hour each day and so does my wife. But we paid big for it (close to $4K), which is another incentive not to let it become a fixture...plus I have it in the garage so I can stare at my GN for an hour and curse at it when it's not running right or tell it how much I love it over and over again when it is running right.

We bought one a few years ago. I quit using it once my right roller skate started squeaking.

All joking aside we never use it. The wife used it for the first few months.

I have a couple years on my proform. currnetly only running less than 10 miles a week on it now that the weather is much nicer. In the winter monthes it gets around 75 to 100 miles a month logged on it. I know a couple other people with Proform tread mills and they seam to be happy with them also. Pretty good bang for the buck in opinion. The Treadmill is much easier on the knees than running the pavement but about a million times more boring.

Don't think that I've ever been to someone's house that had exercise equipment that the
equipment wasn't always being used for laundry, clothes, etc. Shame.......
