I just want to say that I really enjoy our board and the professionalism we have here and its members.

My personal opinion is this is the best place on the net for Turbo Buick and Turbo Trans Am owners.

I feel it would be a great idea for us to give something back to the board.

How about, along with me, sending a donation for 2005 for the best site on the net.

If one of the mods/admins would post where we could donate I am in.

Count me in. When I got my first TR in 97, I checked in on this site and gnttype to get info before I got the GN driveable. I learned a lot about these cars in such a short time from lots of good people.

First, want to thank everyone for their kind comments as we do our best to make this a great site for information, as well as fellowship!

The administration has kicked around donations from members and how to approach and do this in a "classy" manner. The one idea that has the most appeal is that we take donations BUT, only one-half goes to the board maintance, other half goes to a legitimate charity.

The issue we have is to determine which organization or group gets the donation? Or do we have various and rotate who is the receipient on a rotating basis?

So the ball is back in your court to provide ideas and support for this potentially great idea.

As far as organization or groups for donations anything that is real where the money gets to someone and not some CEO"s pocket sounds good to me!

I'm pretty new, but I'd donate. I come to really enjoy reading this site and a couple of others. I'd truly be dissappointed if one of my favorite sites had to shut down because of monetary reasons.

With that said, here is my vote for which charity to donate to. HEROES, INC.
