Joe here we go AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I guess the 8.49 @164 was not directed at me, the past year you lobbyed to not allow the mid frames/ large turbos in you lost, but you still went down to BG and procedded to hand everyone BUT ME there a$$. How did you beat the big bad turbos lets see 1 car had a hard time getting down the track, the other BIG turbo car had mech problems starting to sound familer ? and the third left early oh and by the way I did have a y2k turbo but im sure you would have found something wrong with it. Now you want to start this all over again you want to make the turbo rule easy, any 88 period or are you still afraid the big turbos will run away with the class again I have to ask you has there been a tso/tbb event that a stage headed big turbo car has won ?. Joe you guys dan/you did a great job I wish I was there to see it but then again ah never mind.Talking about carnage there was some maybe next year we should start racing on thursday so we can make it to the finals before our heads crack YA I heard the news. Joe if you don't plan on racing tso I for one don't want your input if you do then let the talking begin. Lastly if the manufacture states that a turbo is a certain size then the customer can not be blamed PERIOD!!!

You need to re-read that statement.

I guess I should have said 8.498 @163.89, I never did want to let the cat out of the bag before BG!!

3300#, 35 psi, 1.30 60’ vs. 3410#, 1.38 60’ 28-29 psi lower timing, richer a/f, & much slower boost ramp, just to get it down the track for an 8.69 at BG! The pass prior was an 8.78 with a1.49 soft, soft 2-3# launch, which the Video confirms.

Don't need to do alot of math?

I stated in an earlier post that an 8.50 was possible if the track would have been better.

I was just trying to add power as needed to cover any next round opponent if necessary.

No I didn’t have any issue with your Y2K turbo.

Sure wished you could have been able to run also! We were looking forward to it!

I did the math.... 110# heavier in BG, the class is limited to 100# of removable ballast. Does that mean you were not in "TSO Legal" trim? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

J/K LOL!!!! That was for the hood!!!!!!:p

Congrats on the 8.49, I dont think anyone has been faster with Champion heads at any weight.

Cal ran faster than that,Im not sure but i think in the 9.40s but he had a fuel pump that was going bad

The car was 3300# with 6gals in 12gal Cell. So at that time it was not in legal trim. The exhaust just dumped just past Firewall.

For BG had to add full muffller exhaust back to the rear axle tube to comlpy with rules.

Also added 2nd Battery, and full 12 gals in cell. That put us at 3397# Juggled between 10# & 15# removable weight at BG to make minimum weight.

The FASTEST Champion Headed Car was Jim Byrne's, Driven by Dan Strezo at Reynolds in 2001 or 2 it went 166mph for those that remember? I know Cal was there as I'm sure others also.

It was done with the 3 bolt version of the PT88, car was approx. 70# lighter than mine.

Same Engine set-up except for I added 4-bolt & 1 5/8" headers.

Sorry Otto I think we were ok for BG.
