Just wondering what happens when the wideband goes bad?

The wideband is only used for WOT fueling. But most widebands fail to 14.7 AFR (with the exception of the LC-1). When the wideband fails the chip pushes the mixture richer (which is safe) trying to hit it's target. The chip include instructions on how to set up the LC1 to fail to a 14.7AFR as well.

You can disable the correction by setting the target AFR to < 9.9

That's good to know. Had to replace the wideband 02 on this PLX once with the 5.7 chip, that's what got me thinking about it.
