TTA vs GN

OK, I am 6'1" about 210 and fit in the TTA just fine, untill I try to put a helmet on at the track, then I have to totally readjust the seat forward and leaned back so I don't hit my head on the T-Tops. Anyone else have this problem?

BTW, I agree with everything said about the TTA's about the ride and creaks and rattles, but subframe connectors solve nearly everything but the ride part. Also, nobody mentioned the extra body bushings or rear seat brace that so many people add to the GN's so aparently they aren't without flaws.

AZGN, lets see how many people can hold 10psi on bone stock powermaster brakes (no S10 cylinders and big shoes).
 
I can hold 14# - 15# on my STOCK breaks (rear shoes replaced in 1990 - over 30,000 miles ago. I just have to hold the brake pedal like this :mad:
I don't see how an '89 F-body can creak and rattle more than my '86 T-Top car.
 
xlr8 you are running some pretty impressive times for your mods.
is there anything else you have? how much boost are you running?
 
I run all the boost that I can. About 25# to 26# is all I can get out of it right now. I am thinking of getting a higher timing chip - my race chip is 26* and I'm thinking 28 or 30 to help compensate for the altitude. Oh, and I have a lot more timeslips that say 12.1 than 11.5. ;)
