The Tune Saver is a backup power source for your car's computer so it will keep it's memory if the battery dies or is disconnected. This enables the ECM to remember any learned data, or parameters, if you have an adjustable chip. It contains a battery, is plug and play, and installs into the single orange wire for the ECM's memory. Designed for a Turbo Buick, but could be used on other cars with tweaks to the wiring.

Available at the TurboTweak webstore: Tune Saver-7000

Let me know if you have any questions!

how long will it keep power to the ecm? if i let the car sit for 12 months will it still hold power?

Very cool.I use a tender through the winter on my chip car this would be great for a battery swap.

Larry, I did not receive any emails from that address. If you want, send me message here.

question: can it be installed without loosing the current tune?
If you're talking about losing the tune you programmed yourself via the chip, you would end up losing the tune because you have to unplug the orange ecm wire in order to connect it to the tune saver.
