I need some advice. This is my second shot TA-49 in three years. The max boost that it is putting out is 22 psi. And using alky. I let the car cool off for at least two minutes before shut down. What am I doin wrong? I am going to buy a turbo timer for this next turbo. What else can I do to save my next turbo? Also what is a quick spooling turbo besides the TA-49? I have 40 psi injectors, walbrow fuel pump, adjustable fuel regulator, 93 chip, Alky, big mouth intake, LS-1 MAF, bigger crossover pipe, 3" down, no cat, flowmaster, and 2800 stall.

Thanks,
Nick

What turbo supplier? What caused the failures? Oiling, thrust, blades, seals? Did it have a 360 degree thrust? Seeing this every once in a while leads me to believe.....maybe we do need bypass valves even though it has been against most advice.

44 SPOOLS GOOD. INTERCOOLER, ID BET A DAILY DRIVEN TR LIKE MINE WOULD SEE THE MOST BENEFIT FROM A BOV.

I have no clue what caused it. I have to wait untill it stops raining to take the intake apart and check the blade.

Good news. All that was wrong was the wastegate actuator codder pin fell off and the arm just needed to be slid back on. Wahoo! Thanks for all the info.
