i have a T66 and im not sure what the size of the hot side is called ...i want to get a turbo cover to keep the heat away from the engine but not sure what size to get

The DEI T3 blanket fits the 3 bolt housing. I used the T4 and it covers the down pipe mounting flange making the turbo look like a big 4 bolt.

i have been thinking about doing this but the rumors of ----The trapped heat in the turbo cooking the oil and the crystallization of the DP have me nervous.

BTW Forcefed that looks nice.

hello; I too am thinking about a turbo blanket and as you search you'll find a vendor that says he they make custom ones. I forget where but it was easy to find.
goodluck and do post with what you come up with.

I have a 66 with a 4 bolt inlet. Anyone got an idea which will fit this?

This is the nicest turbo wrap that I have seen. Nice job! Is there any issues with heat/moisture saturation on the DP that leads to corrosion? Can the stock turbo shield still be used with the turbo heat shield blanket/cover?

I have been running wrap on the downpipe for years, no problem. I do not drive my car in the rain, so no moisture. The DP is stainless, so I see no problems. I have had the blanket on the turbo for 2 years, no issues. Spool up is slightly better, but underhood heat is cut dramatically. As far as fitting under the stock shield, the T3 on a .63 Garrett housing might fit.

Thanks for the compliments.

I agree. SS down pipe been wrapped for 5 years. No problem.
