Hey folks, I have a problem with this hose. It is a little bit too short, so that every time I boost, this hose gets blown out of place and I hear a loud howling from the turbo. Then I will tighten the worm clamps down harder, and try again, but still, under low boost, the clamps get blown off. I need to find a replacement that's about 3" long, with a 2" ID, but I have checked local parts stores, they don't have any universal rubber or silicon hoses. I was wondering if I could buy some radiator hose, just any application as long as it has a 3" long straight piece, to use for the turbo to i/c connection. Will the radiator hose be able to handle the high heat of the turbo? Are there any other suggestions? Thanks.

Try NAPA...I just bought some 3 " hose #620 from them and it works great. I am sure they can get or have in stock the 2" size.

Call Precision Turbo. They sell high quality turbo hoses and t-bolt clamps. They have precut lengths or you can tell them how long you want it and they'll cut it for you.

-Banning.

I ended up going to a Peterbuilt truck shop just off the interstate. They even cut them to the size I wanted. They had a good variety of sizes too.

Seems like every Turbo Buick vendor has short hoses for the up pipe.

If you have a semi shop nearby, they'll have some. They even had silicone but I'm kinda cheap sometimes.
