This is a pic of my turbo compressor wheel. It is a stock housing but has this style wheel. It has six major fins instead of 7. Is this a ta49? I will have to take off the bell housing to get a measurement if needed. It's on a 86.

Do you have screens in you maf?, looks a little chewed up.

Prior owner ran stock air box with no filter, probably from that.

Looks like an old Garrett stage 2. Ex housing a/r would be .82

I tried to search out more info on this turbo but because of its age not much could be found. Was there much of a performance increase over stock? It is currently running 18 lbs through second then 15 in third with 97 octane.
