Little plasma time required for the frame rail ?
Did you knit the towel too ?

Looks good Chuck

Thanks!
Will post up the shots w/ the hot side finished, soon. Bout 2/3'rds done. The w/g plumbing is going to be a head scratcher.....Trying to stay away from putting it under the turbo, at the merge. [So I won't have a possibility of poor low boost control.] But, who the hell runs "low boost"??? o_O:D
Any/all suggestions welcome!

The last hoorah....Here tis. I decided to go w/ the under the turbo mt, [don't see the need for <10# boost, anyway!], and moved the turbo inboard away from the tire. [Was too close at full left, full up].
I have a 2" bellows type, [hi buck] flex, for the w/g to dp connection. That'll be done this weekend....
The next iteration, [IF there ever is one], will have some design changes to include a larger turbo, maybe even a pair.:D

Looks good Chuck! I like the turbo placement. I'm looking forward to you getting it completed.

THANKS! :D
Got the w/g piped and welded. [Sure hope it's enuf gate! 46mm PTE. I used 2" in and out, instead of the 17/8" in, 1 3/4" out.] Next, I'm running the piping from the gate to the dp.
Ne1 have opinion on how far from the turbine outlet the wg should be entering into the dp? I can make it most any distance from 8" to 2'. I'd like to keep it as short as possible, but not disrupt the flow of the dp. [4"] [I have the gate positioned high enuf, so moisture will not drain back into it.]

Thanks!
As I've now finished the set up/weld portion, and have disassembled everything, I'm going to post a set of pics of the individual pieces.
Time to go to work on the frame. Took it out from under yesterday..It's NASTY:eek:

Sure. I have just welded in the last of the O2 bungs. The pieces are all off the car. I'll lay them out and shoot individual shots. Will get at it today....
I have a pic of the dr side installed, that I'll include.

Here are individual pics of the pieces.
The 2 pics of the engine are to show clearance for the p/s hose fittings, and the 1.5" spacers on the Vette alt/ps brkt. I used the Vette accessories in order to avoid cramping the x over pipe toward the block, and having several very short pieces to make the turns. This also allows for the use of the LS6 type intake, as it moves the alt toward the fender, eliminates the truck idler pulley, and also lowers it.The wp is a 2010 Camaro unit. [Eliminates spacers.]
I thot that since I had no truck accessories to begin with, I'd just buy the Vette stuff, and use the truck balancer. [Buying a dressed engine is usually more $$, and you may get an alt, p/s pump, that are pretty well used up.]
The tubes are all 2.5" 304 s/s. Welded with ss rod, and Solarflux "sugar" preventive paste.
I am going to re-assemble the pipes on the engine to finish up the dp. I'll shoot some closeups then.
