They work well and are reasonably reliable. the sensor installation is also cleaner / simpler than the garret sensor. Speed Sensor Measurement with PICOTURN-BM Controller an PICOTURN-SM Sensors I've considered putting one on my car, but haven't done it yet. Would be easy to make it work with a powerlogger.
