I have a garrett .85 housing, is it odd not to have a hole for a fitting for boost control. For the record it is an old TE63 that was modded to a 66. It still runs like a scalded dog but when I look at pics of all these turbos they all have the brass fitting.

How are you adjusting the boost w/o the signal-port? Besides the w/g adjustment, is the turbo limited to a max boost?

Deltagate waste gate, manual boost knob, bov on the inner cooler, no boost solenoid valve. No idea what spinrg is inthe Delta gate, and I can adjust boost up to 35 psi on my 6.40 1/8 mile run. I have an old PTE chip but I'm sure that can't be controlling the turbo.

You're brave. Backpressure is the only thing available to open the gate.

This is the way this car has been since the day I got it in 1997. minus the modded turbo.

You could add the port yourself if you have the tools. Just locate it in the recommended area for the housing and clear all the chips.

You can use a port off the manifold if you want to send pressure to the bottom of the gate and run lower boost
