I have a used 200-4r from a MCSS. It came with the original TV cable. I mated it to a 350 sbc, Weiand intake, holley 600. I have the geometry corrector for Holley carbs from summit. Im using the chrome universal TV bracket.

My question is after I push the button in and preload the inner plastic cable, I hook the clip end if the cable to the TV pin on the bracket, open the throttle to WOT and im not hearing any clicks from the preloaded plastic cable. It pulls out about 2 inches, but only when you push the button in and pull it out. Do I have to drop the pan and check the location of the plunger?

If you pull on th cable you should feel the TV Valve resistance. If its not hooked up it will just slide back n forth.

Typically it will click but some are worn and may not. Set it as tight as you can with out limiting WOT and go from there. This may require you to push in teh halfmoon tab and adjust it by hand vs self "click" if you will

TV cable reaches WOT, but doesnt return all the way to the starting position. I have to pull the cable slightly off the starting position to attach it to the cable pin. Isnt WOT and the return point equally as important?? Should i push in the D button and move cable slider towards the engine to ke up distance? It seems like the pan has to come down to do this accurately. Can I just shift manually at low rpms and take it to a shop?

I talked to chris at CK and he said that I first need to establish the TV cable reaches WOT point and take the car for a spin. Then if it doesnt shift good then i need to adjust the cable for part throttle shif points. I hope I don fry my unit. I will try and get the adjustment right with the angles and dimensions listed before I take it out for a ride

If it's set so your TV cable is tight @ WOT you'll be OK, then you can loosen a click or two if it's too harsh.
