TV exhaust lifter

how is the tv exhaust lifter installed i am having problems with late shifts and i think it was installed wrong it dose not move at all when you move the tv cable should the 90 degree bend on it go in the slot? if anyone has a pic that would be great!!

From what I can see in the pictures, it looks correct. It's not suppose to move unless the cable becomes disconnected. It should stay in the up position holding the ball off the seat unless the cable breaks or becomes disconnected. Then the lever will rotate and pull the pin down to seat the ball.
