Is the TV lever inside the trans the same on all 2004r?

I'd posted about the TV cable limiting my throttle blade travel and upon further inspection, found that the lever is bottoming out on the TV valve face before getting to WOT.

I can adjust the TV cable so this doesn't happen but then the tans shifts through the gears WAY fast...

The only thing I can figure is the geometry of the TR BRF trannys lever is different...(mine is a non BRF race build)

Any ideas?
Thanks
Scott

All of the factory TV hardware is the same regardless of transmission model code. There does exist, however, an aftermarket, shorter-than-stock link that connects the cable end to the transmission linkage. If your transmission has one of those, it could potentially cause your problem.

do you mean the "wire" type link that connects the TV lever to the trans end of the cable?

Yep, that's it. It's intended to make up for cable stretch or similar problems but could cause you to bottom out the plunger before WOT I suppose.
