Ok if I keep asking questions I might one day be an expert like you guys;)
1. Would a stiffer TV plunger spring cause firmer shifts at lighter throttle?
2. would a stiffer TV plunger spring cause higher shifts points at lighter throttle?
I'm talking about the large spring right behind the TV plunger just incase I am wording this wrong.
Thanks again guys!!!

TV plunger spring

Cool Ok, two more questions.
1. would shimming the stock spring to create more spring pressure be a good idea or is there something wrong with making the springs overall lenth longer by adding a shim?
2. if I increase the spring pressure by a shim or a stiffer spring would i need to back down the TV cable adjustment a notch or two to keep the shift points at about the same RPMs?
3. A stiffer spring will not effect full throttle, am I correct?
The reason I'm planing on putting a stiffer spring or a shimmed stock spring is because I am trying to figure out how to get more modulated TV pressure to the boost valve at lower throttle settings so that I will have more main line pressure at lower throttle settings but I dont want to raise the part throttle shift points, am I on the right track? Thanks a bunch

You can certainly go about it in that manner but it would be easier to just install a larger diameter TV boost valve and/or a stiffer PR spring. That would kick up your pressures without changing your shift points.
