Just thought i would follow up on this ; I wedged a small piece of wood just big enough to keep it from moving in between the axle and the wheel cylinder , then the bastard clip slid on like butter with only one flathead screwdriver...

I understand that S10 wheel cylinders will bolt right on , my ? is if I go to AutoZone what year model S10 do I ask for and Can you buy all long shoes for our cars at local places ? Thanks Keith
Simple, just ask for a 1987 Buick Regal with a 3.8 Turbo engine, if that's too hard, then ask for part # W37625
It also helps out alot if you have this Brake Retainer Tool

I could never get that tool to work for me!
Had to come up with some other ingenious way of McGuyvering it

Wait so is the s10 wheel cylinder W37625 or W37644?
I'm looking to do this upgrade as both my rear cylinders are leaking.

You want the MANUAL brake wheel cylinder.
