Upper rad hose solution of sorts 84 GN

I found an AC Delco rad hose which is near perfect with some minor modifications, for my 84 GN Label shows GM number as 88908757 and ACD number as 26059X.

I trimmed 1 1/2 inches off of the end which goes onto the thermostat housing and 2 1/2 to 3 1/4 inches off of the end that attaches to the rad. In other words an angular cut so the hose meets the rad squarely. The long side of the piece removed is 3 1/4 inches long while the short side is 2 1/2.

No kinks no problems - yea I win one finally.

thats funny. thats the same hose i have been using for like the last 5-6 years. i could have told you which one worked. o well you got it now.
