Some of my vac lines are not complete on this conversion so I have a few questions...

For pic #1:
1. Is the red line I drew the correct hose? curves from a T, goes under the EGR solenoid, then to a vac check valve/tee?

2. Is that a vac check valve? (#3) Any idea where to get one like that?

3. The hard line to the left (#1), does it go the the MAP sensor?

4. Does #2 go to the cruise control?

These pics are from someone elses car, I am just trying to get everything straight.

For pic #2
Does the vac hard line coming from the side of the doghouse connect to the heater selector? It looks like it would, but they are drastically different sizes. Is there a type of reducer?

And do these two connectors go to anything? They are near the wiper motor on the drivers fender.

Big red line does go right where you put it, it feeds vac to the 3 way torpedo style check valve, yes its a seconday checkvalve..... the top of the torpedo goes to your AC controls, side that leads to your drivers side goes to cruise area/charcoal...

Map is picked up off tit near pcv valve,

You can buy the #3 at napa, i have a few new ones from them part number 730-1348

Pic #2 top is your map sensor tit i talked about earlier...
Lower part of pic #2 comes from heater controls to adjust between hot and cold, closes valve with vacuum to keep heat out of heater core.

Bryan Dub. (always helping me out!!!):
1. "the top of the torpedo goes to your AC controls"

By AC controls do you mean the hard vac line coming from underneath the AC box? Or does that hard line go to the selector in the following statement??? Seems like there should be two seperate ones...

2. "Lower part of pic #2 comes from heater controls to adjust between hot and cold, closes valve with vacuum to keep heat out of heater core"

Thanks again, brother!

Okay, belay my last. After a little checking with a flshlight and spot mirror, there are two hard lines coming from under the AC box (from the selector controls). There is pink and brown. My brown one is in good shape, the pink one is broken off under the AC box. I didn't see it because it was shoved into a hole in the fender.

So let's recap:
1. top of the torpedo check valve goes to AC (but is it brown or pink?)
2. whichever is for the heater control (pink or brown, opposite of above) goes to the selector valve on the heater lines.
3. MAP get its vacuum from the hard line coming off of the vac block routed down near the PCV.
4. the right of the torpedo goes to the cruise control.

If the brown and pink confuses anyone because their's in black, remember it is an 85. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find which is heater/ac out of the pink/brown...
