Hey guys, I need some help trying to solve my vacuum or lack of it prob. My 85T started idling rough and getting poor gas mileage. The engine check light came on and shows code 32. I noticed I was not getting vacuum to the EGR valve. It seems to get lost where the electric vac regulator and EGR diagnostic switch is. Is there a way to bypass most of that mess and do away with the EGR altogether? Thanks Hal

Do you have a scan tool? Your signature is lacking any modifications which really help us here. In my opinion eliminating the EGR is a waste of time and money unless you are a serious drag racer.

I can only guess that you have vacuum leak. The simplest way to find this leak is buy a can of carb cleaner. Run your car at idle warmed up and spray the carb cleaner at every vacuum hose as well as around the turbo intake adapter. Listen for any change in rpm while spraying the carb cleaner. That will be your vacuum leak. Keep us posted. Brad

P.S. I zip tie every vacuum hose on my car and still shame on me. It was pointed out to me that the adj FPR line needs to be zip tied as well.
