I’m running a stock crank, rods with arp bolts, and trw forged pistons. The stock stuff is a lot stronger than what people give it credit for. I’m also running 2 billet caps.
Yes it is. Tune is the key. Bison ran stock crank, rods and pistons and was running into the 9's. He made a 9s pass with a 6265.
 
Flux that crank check it for cracks but if it were me, I would just buy a steel crank.
Ideally you would do a complete forged rotator and 2 center steel caps. That would be some good insurance.

That's what I ultimately did. But it was expensive. Primarily because I had to have someone else do my build.
