Car runs a bit better around the 13.5 or so range. I've got a brand new ac gold 140 amp alternator and it sits between
13-13.2. So under hard acceleration I wanted a bit more. That's all. But I've already have updated harness and hotwire for the two pumps

I would suggest a better alternator then. Your asking a lot of an alternator by modifying its output that way.

I'm sorry if I seem like I'm questioning your judgment, I'm really not.

If your alternator isn't close to 13.5 + volts at wot (where it counts) then there may be other issues causing drivability concerns.
