I've got a 1987 Buick turbo T limited and I bought a walbro 255 fuel pump from Tre out in California. The pump was literally put in at the end of December and other than a few startups and running a gallon or two of gas through it, that is literally all the time that was on this pump. Haven't even driven on this pump yet. Went to go crank it the other day and no noise from the pump. Checked all power to the back and the wiring and apparently the pump is bad. I'm going to call Tre and see what they can do about it but I hear that with walbro pumps there's no warranty, What other pumps are people using instead of the walbro 255. I'm not looking to do any major e85 type stuff, just want something that I could put in there that will fit and sustain some of the regular bolt-on mods. Any help is appreciated thank you.

I've become a deatschwerks guy. Not saying it is best or there aren't better ones but the ones I've used have worked flawlessly. I will buy more.

i have found the plug come loose before
fyi the pink wire at bumper will show power but its not for the pump, the tan one is
pump only energizes for about 4 seconds after a key on cycle
you can jump it at the back of alternator (connect pump test wire behind alternator to 12v , hood lamp wire works for that)

if it does run check the pump relay or hotwire relay

check steve woods writeup ....
