want a firmer 2-3 upshift

does anyone know how i can get a firmer or harder 2-3 upshift with out haveing to remove my trans from the car and having it rebuilt. 1-2 shift is great but i would like a firmer 2-3 shift the trans i have is brand new from GM

Get the PTS kit, it works! Changing to Chevron Torque fluid will help also.

Yea, and where do you get it? Truck parts store, john deere,wall fart?

Look in the Yellow Pages under oils. I have a Chevron suppiler in the area. I ordered a 5gal. pail today. $30.00 Bruce could reply better on the specifics of Torque Fluid.
