Since I run the Extender chip which doesn't even use EGR (uses EGR's space for other programming)...Can't I just take off the EGR valve and assembly completely and just cover the hole with a plate? Will this affect the car's driveability at all? I would think not since the chip doesn't evne utilize EGR...of course I have emissions here but not for another 2 years since I already pass this past summer (with the Extender chip btw)

also when I get my stock heads ported and polished, do the heads have anything to do with EGR??? what about the intake?

I am still going to retain the charcoal canister and PCV valve setups...

one more way to do it is to install a power plate. They block off the egr inside the intake manifold. very easy to install and they offer alot of other benifits too.

For a while.
Trouble is the BB can move ever so slightly and then hold the EGR open. Expect to spend 2-3 days figuring that out.

Emissions!!!!! I'm from Southern Indiana and we don't have no stincking emissions!!!!!! How come you guys do??

I think Lake and Porter counties are the only counties in this state that test...just like our counties plus Laporte are on CENTRAL time while the rest of Indiana is on EASTERN time!!!

Crawford county is on central time...It's in the boonies and on the Ohio.
