I need a mint/near mint condition sunroof grey plastic cover that bolts to the bottom of the glass. Must be crack free. Please pm me or email me at fillys6@gmail.com. Thanks.

Good luck with that one. I sent an nos one to brian at gbodyparts he was talking to someone about making some new ones and they needed a perfect one. the nos pieces are black and have to be painted. Thats reminds me i should give brian a call.

Still looking.

Brian is still working on it. I contacted mc neil products about making some and they were not interested. I should give brian a call and see what he says.I hate to bother him because he is always so busy.

Well hopefully someone has a nice used one for sale that I could buy. Unlikely, but we'll see.

I sent it out. Got a quote & said send it back LOL

Brian, how much are we talking? Those things are sought after even with a higher price tag? Just Curious?? Thanks!

It's not the individual cost, it's having a minimum amount done. Want to go in on Mold fees & a minimum let me know.
I love the moon roof cars as much as you,But after spending all the $ we did on the ABS moon roof headliners... I should have that recovered in about 20 more headliners & 3 + years. After that we will start turning a profit.

I would rather put $ out for oil cooler lines that we should have in tomorrow. At least we will turn a profit in a few weeks or months :frown:

I understand completely!! Big outlay with SLOW Payback Sucks!!
If 15-20 people would put the $$$ UP FRONT then you could maybe work it out. Easier said than done here!

a question......

......by any chance do the el dorado moonroof plastic trim piece fit the regals/gn's? if so then i always find mint parts in the junk yard

Yep the ElDorado and other E/K-bodies use the same Astroroof as the G-Body. These would be the 79-85 Vintage E-Bodies.

turbofish38 and juicedinsanta12, can you list out what these other "e/k-bodies" are? Also, by EL Dorado, you do mean the Cadillac, right? I just want to be sure....

Thanks

Also, does anyone (Bweavy?) know the original GM part number for this piece? Thanks guys.

The astroroof is the same for the following models.
G-Body
78-87 Regal
78-88 MonteCarlo
78-87 GrandPrix
78-88 Cutlass
78-81 LeMans/Grand Am
78-81 Century

E/K Body
79-85 Riviera
79-85 Toronado
79-85 ElDorado
80-85 Seville
