SignUp Now!If you have the higher pressure (some may call it hd?) wastegate actuator, it has a heavier spring in it which raises the minimum boost you can run. You should have no problem controlling boost from a ta49 with the stock stuff. I am not familiar with "tuner style", maybe you could elaborate?
I am going to have to disagree here, there is unquestionably power on the table here. We have even seen gains going from a 46MM gate that controlled he boost perfectly to a bigger 66MM gate. The benefit is even bigger when the gate is vented to atmosphere and not routed back into downpipe.Unless you're having problems controlling boost with your current setup you won't see much difference to justify the cost or effort. Which downpipe are you currently running? If your future mods still include buying ta headers then this is definately not worth the trouble.
