just wondering i used to have a wastegate actu. with two vacume fittings on it when i ordered the new adjustable one from postons it had only one is this ok i hooked up the vacume lines and everything seems fine havent started car but the layout looks ok what does everyone think and has this happened to them

I put the same waste gate actuator on my 85 GN. The extra hose is not necessary on the new actuator but you must cap off the nipple that the extra hose originally went to. On my car the single hose fits into a y fitting. Also, the fewer thread showing on the arm means more boost. I know because I blew up an engine with only 8,000 miles with one of these adj waste gate actuators. I now have a real boost gage(not the stock one with bar lights)and keep the arm showing max. threads which on my car is 15lbs boost. Good luck Brad

port

Cap the port on the block. DO NOT cap the port on the actuator.
I believe I read somewhere that that port was to keep the car from building boost when climbing a grade @ low rpm.
