Can I just run a straight peice of vaccum line from the wastegate actuator to the compressor housing port and just dial in my boost setting with the adjustable wastegate arm?
Will this be ok?
Or will it cause problems?
Thanks!!

Works fine but will probably slow spool unless you also use a pop off type value and wont have boost control for 3rd and 4th as controlled by the chip which reduces it.

How does the chip reduce boost when there are no electronics hooked up to it to tell it how much boost I am running?

Might've sounded confusing but thats basically what I said, the chip can't control boost since the hose won't be going to the solenoid so you won't see any boost reduction in 3rd or 4th that you normally would if the chip was controlling boost through the wg solenoid. So, your boost should be the same in all gears so if you can only run 16 in third thats also what your going to have for 1st and 2nd where you can normally run a little more boost in 1st and 2nd which is what the chip control allows us. So, in effect your probably going to give up some power you'd normally have in the first 2 gears running more boost.

OK, I got it, I was just a little confused.
Thanks for the info. :D
