Wats a good gear to run on the diff

I currently have 3.73's on my buick is that a good gear to run or should I knock it back down to 3.42's

Lots of folks going fast/quick with 3.42's....
I guess if you have a well built drive train, [Nothing in your signature], the 3.73 operating at higher max rpms, would work.

i had 3.73 in my old set up. and they worked great especially on a heavy car.
i wish i had gone that route on this build as yet again my car is VERY heavy.
