I was there today. 2 hour trip from san tan valley. I didn't run my car. I saw 230 coolant temp and 1st degree knock on the way there. Job didn't want to give me day off so I was 30 minutes late to work. I have over 100 pictures, I will post them up after I get out from work.

ah shut up and get back to watching the cars! you ARE the security, aren't you?
did you get any rain? saw a front moving that direction.
enjoy!!

Way to go, Jeff! Get that 8 before the end of the weekend.

Don,
I had to leave last night. I did not want to stay for the night session because the track was going away with the cold weather. I ended up at 27#'s of boost and 23 degrees of timing. Cal was saying that the sweet spot for the 4276 turbo was 32#'s and I could bring the timing up another one or two degrees. I was launching at 4#'s of boost (4000 rpm) which seemed to help with limiting the wheel stand and still giving me a good sixty foot.

 wow that's a hell of a run congrats, is this your PB ? that car is bad a$$

Wow!

Jeff,
That thing is flying. Congrats. Last night, I think I would have been tempted to try and slip the track guys a hundred bucks to lay down a little more VHT while the air was good. Sounds like it's just a matter of time before you see a eight second time slip.

Again. Congrats.

Mike,
I got 4 runs but could have had a least seven or eight if I wanted to push it and just focus on racing and not socializing. The second run was aborted because my CO2 shifter did not shift and I went into the rev limiter. The third run I brought up the boost and timing slightly but forgot to hit the data log switch and it was 9.108 @150.30 with a 1.37 sixty. I also manually short shifted from first to second because I got nervous due to the previous run. I was not going to make that fourth run but they announced the track was closing and Cal ran Dick's car to 9.06 so I knew the track was still holding.

What a feeling when that trans. brake button is released and you are pulling hard at the finish. It is very additive. I think I will start looking for a 12 step program before I go broke.

I want to thank Nick for inviting me. I had a great time and got to see some old friends. IMO, Jason Cramer has one of the baddest street cars on the planet. A mid 9 second car we drove to the track with ac and overdrive. Jeff's car is running great and will get an 8 second timeslip next time out. Thanks to the Kereny's for opening their house up to my family and entertaining us for five days. Dick showed his TSM car is still a top contender when I ran an uneventful 9.06@150.55. I hope I can make it again next year!
