I like to hang at bobs big boy in toluca lake. A whole buttload of cars come out there, even a million dollar shelby cobra with a real race history its usually me and nailheadpoweredbutthead out there, and usually one other gn comes out, it would be bad ass to see a few of us out there. We could go pick on the mustang crowd who hangs out in a big bunch I want to go to the van nuys thing, i'm only a few minutes away from there, need more info please Gary.,....

its basically burbank, it gets really packed, and cool people. I've heard sometimes Jay Leno will show up in something, i've seen that big deisel powered cartoon looking car out there those one brother something guys built for him. You take the 405 north, 101 south towards burbank, stay in the left, it turns into the 134 east, get off on pass, make a right, make an immediate right on riverside drive, 1/2 mile up is Bobs big boy boooommm right there on the right hand side. You guys ought to come check it out, I know its a drive, but its kick a$$, look it up on your computer. Or if your coming from L.A, you get the 5 north, to the 134 west towards venture, and I dont know the rest

Jay Leno was out walking around the all GM show last year, and the year before, he had that monster car out there. Maybe some Fri nite we can get enough turbo Buick people to come out to the Bob's Big Boy. The only way to do it would be to get there early, and hold on to the parking space. I know how crowded it gets out there. If we could get enough turbo Buicks out there early enopugh, we could commandeer the show. Would be kool.

sounds good, me and Mike aka Nailheadpoweredgs almost kicked some idiots a$$, he was saving me a parking in the front row, this idiot comes along whining about you cant save parking and nearly ran Mike over and almost hit my car the cops came and we flipped coins, he won the coin toss, but the cops ended up getting me a front row parking a few cars down the guy ended up leaving a few minutes later since everybody saw what happened and talked crap to him but that would be cool man. Plus there is free refils on the sodas and another plus is if anybody breaks down, "me" they/I am/are close to my home :smile: because i'm an idiot who always breaks some shiznit..... lets to it Gary, Bobs rules!! plus people always ask about the turbo cars when they are around, they get alot more attention then all the other regulars there :wink:

i'm going to the van nuys thing for sure unless something comes up. as for bobs, i'm going tomorrow, I think we should all meet up there on some friday, but who ever is down to go tomorrow, I will be there along with nailheadpoweredgs, and usually our buddy brings his 87 out, and there has been an old man out there trying to sell his 87 limited t for a while. So if anybody wants to show up, the more the marrier, but for sure another friday too, and many more to follow

Well, I will be there this weekend in sunny CA. San Diego, to be exact. The GN made it from Kansas to Florida and back, now it is time to head West! I am leaving in the morning, hopefully be there Thursday. I'll definately be ready for some shows, racing, wrenching, beer holding, stupervising, etc. :biggrin: I won't have family there until later in August so I have some free time to uh, stay outta trouble.

Post up anything going on, or some garage beer drinking and telling lies.

We should all hold a day of celebration for you if you gn makes it, celebrate that a gn has made such a long distance drive without a blown head gasket I missed the van nuys show, my jaw still hurts, but i'm waiting to hang with the turbo guys, Gary, and the others... we need to do this..
