i dont have a Gn (i wish i did) but i have a buick 3800 turbo i just went from a 3" dump into single 2.5" changed to a 3" full system same issues seemed to feel slower didnt have the same pull to it like i lost heaps of torque but was more the note change i think showed more torque & HP on the gtech and pulled 0-60 0.6 seconds faster on the gtech went much better again when i added extra fuel .in the end after quite a bit of tweaking the tune its way better than where it was before the exhaust change :biggrin: i was in the same boat was about to rip it off and fit the 2.5" back on.
 
There's nothing wrong w/ an ATR dp, if it's set up correctly....

Tell me the right way to set it up. The puck is rite but I have to crank the crap out of the wgrod just to see some boost , way more than I am use to. It's like the last guy said lost all BOTTOM end . Pulls like junk. Before with stock exh. It was unreal . I was happy, I get back going but I should not have to do all this crap to just change to dp . I should have just made a 3in out of my stock exh. Housing and saved that $450

U said a mouth full that time . I am going to try and fix it but it kill bottom end and that's were it was so impresive.
 
Sorry driver side header . That s$&ty junk has cause me more problems than anything I have had . I order a new ds header from Cottons . Just a little exh. Leak kills these cars . Learned my lesson . Thanks for the help
 
You may wanna turn the rod back when you get the new header on you mabe be at like 30lbs of boost right now withe the drivers header craked

So it turned out to be an exhuast leak on the driver's side header causing all your issues? :confused:
 
it damn sure ant helping it any, but I am at the exh. Shop now and we are going to try and tighten the cross pipe. What the deal is that the header flange is bent and the cross pipe keeps coming loose but I got a new header coming from Cottons so were realy pi$$ing in the wind, but we got to try. I just know how bad a exh. Leak hurts these cars but I know now. I hope that's it.:cool:
