Welds and rim screws

I have some e/t drag tires on some weld pro stars with rim screws. I'm wondering if you can go to a radial tire on those rims without any leaking or do I need to find a guy that can weld aluminum to fill the holes from the screws?

if the holes were drilled properly you will not have any problem with radials or any other tire

Why not tap it and put in some socket head screws in with thread sealer and if they protrude inside at all you can do some grinding, that way you can always go back to using screws if you wish?

When I mounted a set of MT drag radials on my alum wheels with screws, they leaked even with the screws in place, and I had to install tubes.
