Ty:
No, not yet. Being out here in sunny Ca rather increases the difficulty in buying any really nice car in general, and GN/GNX/T-TYPE/TURBO-T, and TTA specifically. After carefully weighing the benefits of all of the above cars, I am slowly but surely digging roots deeper in the Buick camp. I am currently considering several Turbo-T's and hope to settle on one. Doesn't mean that I have ruled out the tta entirely, but it probably means that I would have to see the one that I am considering in the flesh to make a decision. For some unknown reasons, I am tied stronger to the Turbo Buicks. Dunno. Even though they are ugly.

Oops, now I know why you asked that question.
I recommended to someone on the east coast that they take advantage of your generous offer for a carfax. Between you and I, I think that the person in question has already bought that car, that is if you just got a carfax request.

no problem

Happy to help anyone out, and keep me posted on your purchase.:)

FWIW & IMHO:
Travis, isn't it? I am at a loss for words on this. I am starting to think that you and big Jim, and maybe even Frank are starting a little business on the side here. All kidding aside, I am not very familiar with the pricing/value on the TTA'S. The TTA values do not seem to have stabilized like that of the dark side clan. I would have to take a stab at it at about $ 18K. That's assuming that it has all original equpiment including non-weather checked tires and virtually flawless condition.
'89 TTA/ 70 miles/ leather/t-top/ $ 34.5 K/brokerage house
'89 TTA/46x miles/leather/t/top/ $ 32.5 K/best offer/priv pty
'89 TTA/7 K miles/hardtop/leather/Brian Turner's car ***
'89 TTA/ 20 K miles/leather/t-top/ $ 16 K/recently sold
'89 TTA/ 30 K miles/leather/t-top/ $ / can't go there, rec sold
***I won't qupte a price on his car, he will probably get all bent out of shape, but I think the last "Buy it Now" on his last auction that I saw was, I believe, 29.9 K.

Nothing in between makes it hard to evaluate. I really haven't a clue.

This new business that you, Jim, & maybe Frank are forming isn't called CAW, is it? CAW= (Conspiracy Against Gary)

Just kidding, dude

You 3 guys haven't been taking any classes on the side, have you?

You know: Dennis Kirban's, Doug Hauser's, or Brian Turner's:
How to sell GNS/GNXS/ T-TYPES/TURBO-TS/TTAS over the internet for fun and profit.
Just kidding.
More importantly: what do you guys value it at?

I am going back to looking for a very respcetable '87 turbo-t.
The waters are not quite as deep there.

$16,500-$17,500

This depends, has to be mint and have all paper work. ;)

my goodness,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I paid way to much for mine then:D :D

I paid

14,000 with about a 1000.00 worth of replacement sensors and a new spoiler still in the box that needs painted. About a 375.00 value:D

Ok so I am off by .5 K to 1.5 K on the generous side. I know that you guys have already seen the car, and I just didn't want you guys to beat me up.

Just goes to verify/validate something that I've suspected for years. East coast cars are not as pricey as west coast cars, but the difference is generally not worthwhile enough to bring cars out for a profit.

Me and TY are going to buy it and bring it to Barrett-Jackson and sell it to the Italian guy with the nice tan in the Yellow suit for 75k:eek: :D

I am in

50/50 we split the profit. No explanation neede to Danielle.

Hey guys-

Been away for awhile-

i would sell the car to "THE MAN" with the TENNESSEE T Hat...

he seems to be purchasing alot of cars and driving up prices, he drove the price of the concept 50s olds from 475,000 to 3 million, what a guy!!!

he must be retarded because he let a yellow 1 of 77 hemi winged warriors go for 285!!!!!
i guessed that winged warrior to sell for 346,000. i would think it should have brought more than 285.

take it easy

BW

PS
you got a good car from Eric, that TTA was taken car of, he never street raced it ... good solid car.

I sort of figured that when you would not take that post out of the for sale area.

Hey Bryan

Good to see ya hanging around. Dont stay away so long next time.

I thought the TTA was a good solid car, but then again when buying a high performance car, you really never know what its prior life was like if you know what I mean.

You hear that boys, the TTA was unabused, when I sell her ( a long time fron know I hope)the price just keeps going up:D
